Fukamushi Sencha (Deep-Steamed Japanese Green Tea)
Fukamushi Sencha (Deep-Steamed Japanese Green Tea)
Introducing Mom's Favorite Fukamushi Sencha – a loving tribute to my dear mother, Tomoko, who simply loves Fukamushi Sencha, made from the freshest leaves of spring and early summer. Fukamushi, meaning "deep-steamed" in Japanese, is a special type of Sencha that undergoes an extended steaming process. This longer steaming time gives Fukamushi Sencha its unique character and distinct qualities. The leaves are delicately broken down, releasing a rich aroma and infusing the tea with a deep, vibrant green color. The result is a luxurious and flavorful cup of tea that offers a smooth and full-bodied taste.
