Bancha

Bancha is made from leaves harvested in late summer, which grow large and thick. It has a light, refreshing taste with a subtle bite. Compared to earlier harvested teas like Fukamushi Sencha, Bancha has a more robust flavor and a vivid yellow color. Since the leaves receive more sunlight, they develop higher catechin content.
